The band are the fab Back Alley Players: Howie Robbins (keys), Phonze (drums), Johnny Turco (guitar), Tony Stevenson (bass) & Dennis Moriarty (harmonica), Plus top vocalists Keith Fluitt, Dennis Collins, John James, Damara & Billy Cliff will be singing with us, what a TREAT!! Nick Ashford started “Nuttin But The Blues” in May, 2010, at Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar. I went to all the shows, featuring the fabulous Ebony Jo-Ann, Madame Pat Tandy, Alyson Williams, LaDee Streeter & so many other wonderful singers, returning month after month to drink in the blues. Our heartfelt thanks to Valerie Simpson for continuing Nuttin but the Blues, with the Back Alley Players and the electric Damara Lynn Greene hosting.
